Research Projects

Following the path towards a more sustainable and greener society with the power of carbon materials, we focus our efforts on developing the following fields:

  • Carbons Informatics.

  • Better Life and Life Improvement by Carbon Technology.

  • Fibers and Membranes by collaboration with the Global Aqua Innovation Center at Shinshu University.

  • Green Catalytic Process & Electrocatalysis by Advanced Carbons.

We leverage different synthesis techniques to produce a variety of carbon nanomaterials such as graphene, graphite, fullerenes, carbon nanotubes, diamond like-carbon, nanodiamonds, carbyne, amorphous carbons, and polymeric nanocomposite for the innovation of sensors, catalyst, energy, polymers, coatings and other. This will contribute to the development of sustainable technology for the protection of the environment, production of clean energy, enhance electronic technology and informatics for the benefit of humanity and the environment.
